Don't Wait Until the Battle is Over; Shout Now! What an awesome declaration of power through faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As I listened to the West Angeles Church of God in Christ Choir sing this song on Sunday, joy filled my heart as the Holy Spirit embraced the sanctuary. The words of this hym served as a reminder of battles we must endure throughout our lives. No matter how tough the battles are, do not wait until they are resolved to give God the Glory. Have faith that he will carry you through and '"shout now" for victory. Challenges for the saints are two-fold because we face normal life issues compounded by those of temptation. We have to stay focused on Him to alleviate the worldly desires to do what we know is not right. Battles at times are insurmountable and many times we may feel that we are at a point of no return. We have prayed for long periods and nothing has changed, but we continue praying. The climax finally arrives and in steps King Jesus to save the day! Wonderful, Omnipotent, Almighty is the Lord our God. Maybe you are waiting on that job opportunity, relief from financial burdens, struggling with your loved ones, trying to stay saved in a worldly society, or dealing with many other problems. Have faith and know that God is able. "Don't wait until the battle is over; SHOUT NOW!"
